I needed a simple numeric display for my Arduino clock project and this common cathode module wired up in about 15 minutes. The 0.56-inch height is just right for reading from across the room.

The 5V common cathode setup worked exactly as described in the manual, making my prototype build straightforward. The segment is surprisingly bright for a single digit, and the thin pins fit securely into my breadboard.

It’s a small, neat board and the common cathode layout made it drop-in easy for my breadboard project. The pinout diagram in the manual saved me a good ten minutes of guessing.
