Mounted it on the side of my reservoir tank and it triggers exactly when the water hits the float, so the sealed read switch stays dry and reliable. Took about ten minutes to wire up, and it’s been spot-on every cycle since.

The magnetic float triggers the switch reliably every time the water hits the level I set. Took about 10 minutes to mount on the side of my tank and it’s been working perfectly since. Exactly what I needed for a simple automated top-off system.

The magnetic read switch is cleverly sealed inside the barrel, so I don't worry about water getting into the contacts. Took a bit of fiddling to mount it sideways, but once positioned, it trips reliably every time the level hits the mark. Solid value for the price.
