KY-040 Rotary Encoder Module

The 20 pulses per rotation gives me nice precise control for my Arduino volume knob project. Wiring it up was simple with just 5V and ground, and the example code from the forum had me running in minutes.

Setup was straightforward with the pinout diagram from the support forum, and the 20 pulses per rotation feel precise for my volume knob project. Works flawlessly at 5V, no jitter or missed steps so far.

I’ve been using this rotary encoder with an Arduino project and the 5V working voltage was a perfect match. The 20 pulses per circle gave me enough resolution for fine-tuning volume control. The support forum’s example code saved me a ton of setup time.
