TTP229 16 Key Capacitive Keypad

Installed this on my custom controller and it detects touch accurately with no lag at all. The separate IC makes wiring much cleaner than a mechanical panel would.

Soldered it into my project last night and the capacitive sensing is spot on - all 16 points register without any physical buttons to wear out. The response feels instant compared to the mechanical keypads I've used before, and it's been running solid for two days straight.

Setup was straightforward, and the touch sensitivity is consistent across all 16 keys, which I appreciate for a DIY controller project. The solid-state design means zero wear and tear compared to my old mechanical switches.
