These chips work exactly as described for driving multiple LEDs with just a few Arduino pins. The 16-pin DIP package is easy to work with on a breadboard, and having five in the pack is great for bigger projects without ordering multiple times.

These arrived quick and the 16-pin DIP package makes them easy to handle on a breadboard. I've already wired up a few to test LED chaser patterns, and they work perfectly with the datasheet provided.
