NE555 Frequency Adjustable Pulse Generator

Hooked this up to a 9V battery for a quick bench test and the square wave was perfectly clean right out of the box. The wide power supply range is great since I can use whatever battery pack I have lying around.

I needed a clean square wave for testing, and this little module delivers exactly that—the wide 4.5-12V input range means I can run it off leftover batteries. The NE555 timing is rock steady, and it fired up instantly on first power.
