SN74HC377N Flip-Flop

Finally got these in a DIP package, so they’re a breeze to breadboard with the latched clock-enable keeping my design tidy without extra wiring. Worked exactly as the datasheet says for positive-edge triggering, and they’re holding steady at 5V for a project I’m testing right now.

The clock-enable input on these chips saved me from having to add extra logic for my counter project. They trigger cleanly on the positive edge with no glitching I could measure.

These work exactly as I needed them to—the positive-edge triggering makes them ideal for my counter project. They are a solid, reliable alternative to the HC273 for designs that don’t need a clear function.
