Swapped out my noisy mechanical limit switch for this optical endstop and the difference is night and day. The contactless design means no more false triggers from vibration, and it homes perfectly every time.

Took me ten minutes to wire in and it homed perfectly on the first try, which is more than I can say for the mechanical switch it replaced. The contactless sensing is so much quieter too, no more clicking every time the carriage hits the limit.

The contactless design is a huge upgrade—no more missed triggers from a worn-out lever. I set it up on my CNC router and it detects zero reliably every time, even with dust on the sensor.
