I’ve been using this red stranded wire for a few internal audio connections, and the flexibility is noticeably better than standard stuff. The insulation feels sturdy enough for tight spaces without cracking.

This is great for panel wiring in a test rig I’m building — the copper strands are fine and flexible enough to route neatly through tight spaces. I measured it out and the gauge is consistent throughout the entire metre.

Rewiring a vintage amp and this red wire is exactly what I needed—the insulation strips cleanly without nicking the copper, and the DEF61-12 spec gives me peace of mind for the signal path. Cut to length easily and soldered up like a dream.
