10mm Diffused White LED

Soldered a couple into a breadboard circuit as status lights, and the 3.0–3.2V forward voltage worked perfectly with my 3.3V rail. The diffused white glow is pleasantly soft, not harsh like clear LEDs.

Wired these up for a small nightlight project and the 3V forward voltage means a single coin cell drives them perfectly without any resistor hassle. The diffused dome gives a soft, even glow instead of a harsh pinpoint, which is exactly what I wanted for the housing.

The 20mA forward current rating is exactly what I needed for my through-hole PCB layout, and the diffused coating gives a nice even glow instead of a harsh hot spot. They’re a bit pricier than I’d like per unit, but the consistent 3.0–3.2V forward voltage means no fiddly current-limiting tweaks. Sol
