3mm Diffused LED (Red)

I replaced an old indicator light with these red LEDs and was pleasantly surprised by how evenly they glow thanks to the diffused lens. They draw very little current so my battery-powered project runs much longer now.

The frosted lens really helps these LEDs glow evenly without harsh hotspots. I used them in a 3D cube project and the light spread looks great.

I used these as back-lighting for a small acrylic sign, and the diffused 3mm package spreads the red light evenly without hot spots. They run cool and stable even when left on for hours. A solid choice for any indicator project.
