Passive 16ohm PCB Buzzer/Speaker

Soldered this little 12mm speaker into a breadboard alarm circuit and the multi-tone output is surprisingly clear for something that tiny. Even at the 1.5V minimum it still puts out a solid beep without any distortion.

The 16-ohm coil handles the 5V range perfectly for my Arduino beeps, and the 12mm footprint means it barely takes up space on the breadboard. Even at 1.5V it's surprisingly audible, so I'm using it for a little alarm clock without any extra amp.

Getting a clear, multi-toned sound from something this compact surprised me — the 16-ohm coil handles the 3V battery perfectly. Perfect for my Arduino chime project where I needed both volume and small size.
