STM8S105K4T6 Development Board

Got this board for a quick prototype and was impressed how easy it was to get blinking with the built-in LED and just a few wires. The S105K4 handles my UART communication flawlessly, and for the price it's unbeatable if you just need a reliable 8-bit core.

I needed a dirt-cheap MCU for a simple sensor project and this board fit the bill perfectly—the STM8 core is surprisingly capable for the price. The GPIO pins are well labeled and easy to solder to, got my prototype running in under an hour.

The pin headers are laid out clean enough that I had a small prototype wired up within the hour, and the STM8’s low cost means I don’t mind dedicating one to a permanent project. It’s a solid, no-frills board for anyone already comfortable with the chip.
