8x8 Serial Dot Matrix Module

The 8x8 grid is surprisingly bright for its size, making it perfect for small signage projects. I’ve already got it daisy-chained with a second module and the serial control works flawlessly right out of the box.

I've been using this 8x8 matrix for a small project and the red LEDs are surprisingly bright, even in a well-lit room. The daisy-chain ability saved me a ton of wiring since I'm running four of them in sequence.

The MAX7219 controller makes daisy-chaining multiple modules a breeze for bigger displays. I've got four running together as a scrolling message board and the brightness is perfect even in a well-lit room.
